Eden boarding school for traumatized girls

Eden boarding school is located in Carmia, approximately 7 kms from the border with Gaza. It runs a support program for 55 girls between the ages of 12 and 18 with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from sexual trauma, neglect and poverty. Miraculously, the girls were not present at the boarding school on October 7th (and were then relocated to Jerusalem), but the boarding school building itself was severely damaged. Since October 7th, the campaign contributed to the physical renovation of the building, and the establishment of dedicated, inviting therapy spaces to support the girls' healing process. At present, Eden boarding school is again operating at its original location in Carmia.
