Comprehensive Service Center (One-Stop Shop) – Bat Yam Municipality
The collaboration between Alumot Or and the Bat Yam Municipality aims to turn an emotional-educational vision for people with disabilities in the city from a dream into a reality. This vision seeks to establish a comprehensive, high-quality, and continuous service system that supports children and their families from the moment of diagnosis and throughout all stages of life.
One-Stop Service Center
A single, accessible hub offering end-to-end solutions—personalized, professional, and holistic.
The professional vision is based on creating a personalized, holistic framework that brings together all essential services under one roof. It stems from a deep understanding of the child and family’s needs during times of emotional upheaval and uncertainty.
The One-Stop Shop will serve as a clear, available, and supportive address for families from the moment they receive a diagnosis. Many parents find themselves navigating an overwhelming emotional, bureaucratic, and social experience. Often, there is a lack of sufficient and continuous communication between various systems- education, psychological services, welfare, health funds, national insurance, and others- leaving parents to manage a complex system on their own.
This center is designed to close that gap, providing professional and holistic guidance- emotional, therapeutic, systemic, and social- so parents are no longer alone. The guidance will include understanding rights, identifying specific needs, building a personalized plan, and navigating challenges most effectively.
The project is carried out in collaboration with the education, welfare, and psychological services departments of the Bat Yam Municipality, under the guidance of Alumot Or, led by Roni Avraham, a didactic diagnostician, expert in remedial teaching, and childhood sexuality educator.
