The Noya Dan Visitors Center

Where Personal Experience, Learning, and Remembrance Come Together

The Noya Dan Visitors Center is an innovative space which acquaints the visitors with the experience of autism. The center was conceptualized to commemorate Noya Dan, a student at Benjamin Rothman Eshel Hanassi school, who was murdered with her grandmother during the October 7th terror attack in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Input from individuals with autism was taken into consideration in the center's design process, in order to arrive at a realistic as possible result and form a comprehensive experience for the visitors as they continue from one room to another.

The center will be built within the Groove-tech building in Eskol Regional Council, which was one of Noya's favorite places. The Groove-tech staff is playing an integral and significant role in the planning, as well as other regional council entities and the Department of Education and Commemoration.
