About the Lecturer
Roni Avraham is a special education teacher, educational diagnostician, and facilitator of workshops and training sessions for educational staff and parents. She holds a B.A. in Special Education and an M.A. in Childhood and Youth Culture, both from Tel Aviv University.
Roni specializes in autism and learning disabilities. She mentors special education students and teaches in a training program for educational support aides at the Kibbutzim College of Education. In addition, she is a certified instructor in sexual education and safety for children and provides guidance to teams and parents on issues of sexual development in early childhood and elementary school.
Roni also hosts a weekly radio show, “Etzelanu BaHazer” (In Our Yard), on the First Social Radio, where she discusses education and special education from a professional, emotional, and social perspective.

These sessions are designed for preschool and school staff, therapists, parents, education students, and anyone interested in acquiring knowledge and tools for working responsibly, sensitively, and openly with children on the topics of sexuality and personal safety- in both general and special education settings.
