About the lecturer:
Dr. Shachar Bar Yehuda lectures in the special education programs at the Levinsky-Wingate Academic College, at Oranim College, and at Bar-Ilan University. He formerly worked as a national counselor on autism at the Ministry of Education's Special Education Division, and currently manages the activities involving autism at Alumot Or. Dr. Bar Yehuda holds a Ph.D. degree in special education and a Master's degree in special education with a specialization in autism; both are from Bar-Ilan University. He has also earned a Bachelor's degree in education and comparative literature, and a Master's degree in education planning and policy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Additionally, Dr. Bar Yehuda is a graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership.
Within the framework of his role at Alumot Or, Dr. Bar Yehuda develops theory- and research-based study programs and assessment tools. In his lectures, he offers groundbreaking professional guidance on autism, with a variety of points of emphasis.
